Jason’s volunteer journey at Mel Trotter Ministries began during COVID-19 when direct service opportunities were limited, but the need for compassion and support was critical. He began volunteering regularly by managing food donations and organizing the pantry.

Recently, Eric and one of the coaches from the Men's Center joined a game of basketball with some boys from our neighborhood. The boys were SO excited! Another day, we noticed that Eric took it on himself to do some lawn work and clear out some weeds. He is also always willing to help out with unloading donations that people drop off. Thank you, Eric, for being the best security guard and for all the other ways you help out around Alpha Grand Rapids!"
